COMMUNION - THE BODY OF CHRIST
As Believers in Christ Jesus we must pay attention to all His Holy Words spoken to us and pay special attention to the teaching of Jesus that
are a part of our foundational doctrines of Christ, like Holy Communion. In this lesson we will speak on what it means to discern the Lord’s
Body. We (ihlcc) have found many believers don’t clearly understand what it means to not properly discern the Lord’s Body. There is dual
meaning in discerning the Lord’s Body. Of course there could always be more but we will teach briefly on the two that we know of today. The
first is the physical Body of Jesus being broken (in sickness, affliction and weakness) for our spiritual wholeness (healing, peacefulness and
strength). The second is the Church as a whole, the Body of Christ corporately that makes up all Christianity through expression of His Voice
and His Hands in Heaven and upon the earth. Yes, each member of the Body of Christ is important so we do well not to pridefully discard any
member of Christ’s Body primarily because it is God’s Body, not mans.
Foundation Scripture for this teaching
1 Corinthians 11:17-34 KJV
17 Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.
18 For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
19 For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
20 When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper.
21 For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
22 What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you?
shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.
23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do
in remembrance of me.
25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this
do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
33 Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.
34 And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.
Notice verse 18 said when you come together, not if. So all believers should go to church to worship God. The Apostle Paul addressed the problem of people being divided in God’s House, the church, when God is a God of One. We should have unity in
the Church because it should all be about Jesus not our feelings, emotions, opinions or even personal doctrines
Notice that verse 20 states “when” and “not if” we come together it should be in one place so those who want to watch church via remote
satellite or on the internet without other church members are not exactly following God’s Perfect Will, there is always an added blessing
in doing God’s will the way He (The Lord) wants it done.
We also notice in verse 20 the words, “to eat the Lord's supper” that they partook of Holy Communion quite frequently and that is probably
why some/many people became complacent.
Verse 21 shows the disorder of the service therefore a true elder or leader (pastor) must take control of the service or else things can
really get out of hand very quickly
Verse 22 mentions a key root in the statement, “despise you the church of God” which means two things 1) we should never be disrespectful
and/or dishonorable in the physical building of God, the physical church. 2) secondly we must not despise (lightly esteem) the spiritual
Church of God in Christ Jesus, His People
Verses 23-25 are our foundation scriptures for practicing Holy Communion
Verse 26 is reminding us that whenever we partake of Holy Communion we are showing the Lord’s Death until Me returns to the earth to take
us away into Heaven or until He cleanses the earth from all unrighteousness. This is because we proclaim the resurrection of Jesus Christ
so when we remember (think upon) this gruesome death by way of crucifixion we are showing everyone in the world that there will be no excuse
for ignoring God’s judgment for sin, except through Jesus Christ. We are reminding all people that you must be willing to die if you truly
want (desire) to live.
Verse 27 speaks to our lesson today by the statement, “unworthy shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord”. Which means if you
are unworthy for one you are unworthy for two (both the Body and the Blood). If you are unworthy, the body of Christ will be your burden
which is sickness, disease, weakness and affliction while being unworthy for the Blood of Christ will basically mean that you are still yet
in your sin(s), so you are guilty of God’s Judgment instead of God’s Grace and Mercy.
This is why verse 28 brings instruction and understanding with the words examine yourself and if you have no ill-will in your heart toward
another member in the Body of Christ and you have no known sin that you are currently practicing then partake of God’s Holy Communion. However,
if you do have unforgiveness in your heart toward another and/or you are involved with known sin please do not partake of the holy communion
because you will suffer the consequences in due season.
Verse 29 confirms that truth with the words, “He (or she) that eats and drinks unworthily eats and drinks damnation to themselves. Yes, this
happened to the Children of Israel when they wrongly used the manna from heaven. If you ate the manna in the way it was supposed to be eaten
it was a true blessing from God. However, if you tried to use it outside of it’s intensions it became rotted (bred worms and stank) according
to Exodus 16:20. Literally when you eat the Body of Jesus unworthily you are eating sickness, disease, weakness and affliction into your
physical body and likewise when you partake of the Blood of Christ unworthily you are drinking sin into your heart which is like poison that
will eventually cause physical death and even spiritual death (separation from God) if never properly repented of.
Verse 30 confirms the fact that the Lord is not warning His children about this sin to scare them but rather He is telling them truth that
must be observed and obeyed to benefit each Believer
Verse 31 uses the word judge ourselves instead of examine ourselves but the thought is the same. As we say in today’s vernacular, “Do You”
which means handle all sin and offense in your own life by repenting from it in Jesus Name so you can live clean all the time such that you
are always ready for holy communion because you should live right every day of the week, not just communion Sunday
Verse 32 is a carry-over from verse 31 in the since that if we would judge ourselves we won’t be judged by God. However if we won’t judge
ourselves God’s Word has already judged us to guilty of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. The only good thing about being judged by God is
that His Judgment will save us from eternal death because we would have paid for our lesser sins now instead of paying for them after we leave
this world. We must remember that God only chastens those whom He loves so we can praise God even during times of correction.-Refer to
Hebrews 12:5-11
Verse 33 mentions that “when (not if)” we come together for communion wait until everyone has arrived then partake of Holy Communion together
as One United Body of Christ eating the Spiritual Bread of Christ which is the representation of the Physical Body of Christ.
Verse 34 shows the practical side of God with the statement, “If a person is hungry let them eat at home”, this comment assumes that a Believer
in Christ Jesus that is a part of a local church would not be hungry and without food. Yes, we all may work hard and longer hours that may
prohibit us from being on time to an evening weekday service that serves communion so the rule of thumb is if hunger is consuming your mind
to the place where it is a challenge to keep your mind on Christ Jesus don’t partake of that communion. On the contrary if you are a little
hungry but your thoughts are consumed with Jesus Christ and the great work He has already done for you by all means partake of God’s Holy
Communion in remembrance of Jesus Christ. Amen! The whole key is avoiding the condemnation/judgment of God upon yourself. The Lord’s Supper
should never be taken lightly, nor should we mock God by proudly thinking that God will accept me even if I hold sin and unrighteousness and
unforgiveness in my heart because that is simply not true. God’s preference is for each one of His Precious Children to judge themselves
rather than His judgment coming to pass upon His Very Own Beloved Children. We can recall that the very same God that saved the Children of
Israel from the torture and bondage of Egypt destroyed those who practiced evil while in God’s Congregation.-Refer to 1 Corinthians 10:1-13
Luke 6:35-37 KJV
35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall
be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
This is another scripture reference where we are warned not to judge anyone else, nor should we condemn, nor should we ever be offended to
the point where we are unwilling to forgive someone else.
Judgment – is when you speak evil about another person, especially when you promote your opinion over their actionsPlease note that doing these three things is not optional, nor a suggestion but rather they are commandments of the Lord. In this example the words are in red, not gray. The words of the Lord Jesus Christ are all written in Red because they represent the Shed Blood of Jesus, so please understand there is nothing gray about obeying His Word simply because there is no shade of gray (doubt, dispute, or shadow of darkness) in the Crimson color of Life within Jesus Christ. His sacrifice was full of red for the sole purpose of removing the dark stains of sin. Nothing but the Blood of Jesus can erase all sin stains of gray and at the same time make everything all clear. Amen!
Condemnation – is when you not only judge the other person actions or thoughts or words but you also rendered a decision of guilty upon that individual. Yes, this is a very common sin demonstrated by those who talk too much. Statements like, he ought to know better, I don’t know what they were thinking, she ought to be ashamed of herself, etc… are all statements of condemnation
Unforgiveness – Is generally when someone or something has personally happen against you or one of your love ones and you refuse to forgive the offender. Yes, you might have a good reason for not wanting to forgive but any reason you come up with will pale in comparison to the mercy God had upon your own soul when He mercifully forgave you. Thus, unforgiveness is a sin and it is one of the sins that will keep you from Heaven if it is allowed to fester in your heart. Yes, hell is full of people who failed to forgive, please don’t make such a costly mistake.-Refer to Matthew 18:21-35 for the parable of the servant who failed to release a debt and was put into debtors prison right after his own personal debt was released by his lord (his creditor, his boss, his ruler).
Isaiah 53:3-6 KJV
3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised,
and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his
stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
In verse 3 we would like to point out that Jesus was despised which makes the sin of unbelief so grievous during the public ministry of Jesus
Christ, yes the verse goes on to say He was not even esteem (regarded as important) so we must not make that same mistake with His People, the
children of God because they (or we could say “we”) are all one in Jesus Christ. You must know this to properly discern the Living Body of
Christ.
In verse 5 we read that, “the chastisement of our peace was upon him” therefore when we had no peace due to lack of power and instruction
before we knew Jesus Christ, we now through the better understanding we have in Jesus Christ should seek peace with our fellowman by walking
in peace with all those we know and come in contact with. He bore the punishment for our strife and division with our fellowman because He
came to bring us peace through the power of God literally manifested upon the Children of God, so we should be in peace one with another, not
just Sunday but all the time, each and every day of our lives. Amen! So see to it that you walk in peace by avoiding all strife, judgment,
condemnation and unforgiveness.
1 Peter 2:19-24 KJV
19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.
20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye
take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes
ye were healed.
In verse 19 we notice that there is such a thing as suffering wrongfully which is suffering persecution and ridicule for doing nothing
wrong. Yes, we are called to keep a clear conscience before (toward) God. During those times it is wise to Thank God because praising and
thanking God will give you strength to endure the persecution.
Verse 20 confirms the fact that “if” (and we did say if) you do well and suffer for it we must take it patiently which means without
retaliation or dread or an evil divisive plan to get retribution.
Verse 21 reminds us that we are called to suffer as Christ Jesus suffered all things. The key is we must learn how to suffer in God’s Grace
so we must keep our eyes upon The Prize (Jesus Christ and God’s ultimate approval) to endure the sinful ways of our adversaries.
Verse 22 gets to the main point of these verses with the statements, “Who did no sin” and “neither was guile found in his mouth”. The first
statement means that Jesus didn’t practice sin, therefore He did not have to worry about taking God’s Holy communion unworthily. Likewise no
guile (evil craftiness to obtain one’s own goal, speaking false words to make another person think they are obtaining something that is for
their own personal benefit when actually it is for the gain of the speaker, deception) should be in our mouth. This means it is possible to
not sin and it is just as possible to keep your tongue from speaking deception (guile) and if Jesus did it shall we not strive to be just
like Him, sinless and truthful in all things.
Verse 23 shows us that Jesus was indeed reviled (spoken to abusively or abrasively) but He did not respond back in that same fashion. Yes,
Jesus did suffer a lot of persecution but He chose not to threaten the people who threaten Him. How did Jesus withstand both these two
types of attacks? The answer is by committing Himself unto God, the Father, knowing that God will vindicate (justify, clear) Him in due
season. The point is both our Father God and our Precious Lord Jesus Christ are very good judges of both spiritual and practical (natural)
matters. Therefore we should leave all judgment in Their very capable hands. This means we should judge no one and that would include not
having a judgmental attitude before, during or even after Holy Communion.
Verse 24 reminds us of what Jesus did on the cross to bring us back to what we should focus on before, during and after the Holy Communion
which our awesome Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who bore our sins and bore our sickness and disease too.
James 3:13-18 KJV
13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without
partiality, and without hypocrisy.
18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
In verse 13 we see that the wise man or woman has accurate knowledge of God’s Word and they show their faith in God through the meekness of
their conversation (lifestyle including the softness and soundness of their words).
Verse 14 declares that bitter envy and strife in your heart is wrong and they work against God’s Spirit of Truth and the Word of Truth because
we don’t have truth unless you have both (God’s Heart/His Spirit and His Word) together in complete unison.
Verse 15 basically states that type of thinking is not God’s Wisdom (not God’s Way) but rather earthly (carnal minded) sensual (fleshly,
lustful) devilish (full of pride and division).
Verse 16 confirms that envy and strife is a work of the devil that breeds confusion and every (yes, every, all) evil work. This is exactly
why you can’t bring this type of behavior into God’s Holy Communion and think that He (The Lord and our Heavenly Father) won’t notice the
stains of sin upon the white garment of your heart. Yes, sin is very apparent to God and if God stands in the presence of sin all sin must
be weighed and judged in God’s Light, so the Christian will be declared guilty before God, if they refuse to judge themselves according to
God’s Holy Word and the conviction of their own heart and conscience.
Verse 17 basically points out the huge difference between God’s Wisdom from above and the wisdom of world from beneath.
Verse 18 gives us our target (goal, result) we should pursue at all times, it is peace both with people and with God. This is why we should
not bring offense into God’s Holy Communion because we are not to be in strife or envy or anger with anyone. We simply love Jesus Christ and
all our family in God and likewise we also love all God’s creations which includes those who don’t even believe on Jesus. This puts us in the
right position to love all and be ready to witness about the goodness of God to all those who have an ear to hear. Amen!
1 Corinthians 12:12-27 KJV
12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made
to drink into one Spirit.
14 For the body is not one member, but many.
15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
19 And if they were all one member, where were the body?
20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.
21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts
have more abundant comeliness.
24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:
25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
Since we are speaking about communion and discerning the Body of Christ, notice in verse 12 that the Body of Christ is one body but that one
body has many members. Yes, every single member in the Body of Christ is still considered a valuable member of the Body of Christ.
Verse 13 emphasizes that this is a work of the Holy Spirit of God for all nations
Verse 14 re-emphasizes that the body is not one member, but many members, so recognize the fact that thousands upon millions upon billions of
people are your family of brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus (Side note: So please don’t get comfortable around only a few close friends but
rather be open to large churches and/or large gathering of people because that is more typical of what we will encounter in Heaven.)
Verse 15 shows us each member should not complain about their position in the Body of Christ.
Verse 16 just brings a second witness because this is a common problem in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. The ear and the eye and every
member must be content to faithfully fulfill their proper position in the Body of Christ.
Verse 18 tells us why? The short answer is because God placed you there for His Glory not yours. This is why God is not completely obligated
to follow your will for your life but rather He is obligated to assist you in fulfilling His Will for your life.
Verse 19 repeats this fundamental truth that there is only One Body of Christ comprised of many members. Just like we only have one body but
likewise that one body has many parts and pieces all working together to make us whole and functioning properly.
Verse 20 Just repeats that we have many member in the Body of Christ and yes it is His Body. The Body of Christ is God’s Body not man’s body,
so we must reverence God’s Holy Body by treating each member as a beloved Child of God.
Verse 21 specifically points out that no member has the godly right to disregard another member just because they personally don’t need
them. This is repeated twice as a second witness to establish the truth that the Body of Christ is not man’s (your own) body but rather God’s
Body fashioned and established for His Glory and His Purposes.
Verse 22 teaches us that even the members of the Body of Christ that seem weak (feeble, soft) are necessary so no one can disregard them as
being worthless because all the members in the Body of Christ are necessary for us to function properly.
Verse 23 speaks of our personal thoughts of judging members who don’t seem to be worthy of the Body of Christ, but “who are we to judge?” –Refer
to Matthew 7:1-2 Make no mistake about it if someone in the Body of Christ seems to be inferior to you, you are wrong (guilty of sin) and you
need to repent before you partake of God’s Holy Communion. Yes, even the members of the Body of Christ who seem unattractive to you should be
held in high regard simply because God has graciously accepted them into the Holy Body of Christ. Example: We can’t see the blood flowing
through our body but that unseen flowing blood is our life according to Leviticus 17:11 and if that unseen blood stops flowing to any member of
our body gangrene will set in which is a manifestation of death inside a member of our body or the death of the whole body in many cases.
Verse 24 just reminds us that the Body of Christ is all God’s Working because God put His Body together and He fused each member one to another
just for the Body of Christ to work (function) properly. Notice that God does honor those members in the Body of Christ who don’t get honor
from men.
Verse 25 teaches us that there should be no schism (division or disunion, opposing parties or parts) in the Body of Christ. Quite often we hear
of a division within a church family and what typically follows that division is a separation from that church family. This is the reason that
all such behavior is sin that must be judged by God. Any time we are causing division (a schism) in God’s Holy Body it is specifically His
problem to deal with. The sad part is sometimes God’s very own beloved children are the main problem not the devil. The flesh is selfish and
prideful and very problematic aside from the works of the devil.-Refer to Galatians 5:19-21 The solution is also mentioned in this same verse
which is “we should love one another and inside of our love for each other we should sincerely care for each other”. We can show our love and
care for other members by being respectful and kind and peaceful with all members in the Body of Christ not just the ones we like (respect). And
for that manner all people on the earth because we should not be offended by anyone when we operate in the Blood of Jesus which is symbolic for
the Love of God.
Verse 26 shows the God kind of Love that suffers hurts when other people around them hurt, and honors all people that are being honored or in an
honorable position (government, teachers, supervisors or anyone in an authoritative position). Also, the God kind of Love is always quick to
rejoice when others around them are rejoicing.
Verse 27 just reminds us that this is who we are, we are the Body of Christ and specifically we are all members of the Body of Christ. Remember,
God chose us first so we must realize that this honorable position was solely a product of God’s Grace and Mercy and Love upon us. Therefore we
cannot be prideful and look down our nose at other members in the Holy Body of Christ.
Hebrews 10:25-29 KJV
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see
the day approaching.
26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood
of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
Verse 25 brings to mind two things: The first is being a part of a local body of believers is God’s Will. Please don’t substitute watching an
on-line ministry for convenience for going to a local church of God. Of course some will say I can’t find a church I like which is just like
saying I am too fussy to find a church that looks at everything in God exactly the way I do. Or the non-local church goer could also be saying
I really don’t want to get involved with other people, so I just avoid going to a local church so they won’t ask me to get involved. This
manner of life for some people is wrong and it is a sin because God ordained for His People to meet together on a regular basis and exhort each
other. Secondly, Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together also means that no single child of God is a completed doctrine all by
themselves. Yes, in the church each member should stay in line with the foundational biblical principles of that church. Yes, we (ihlcc) see
far too many people in the Body of Christ forsake the whole church which is every member in that church including the Pastor simply because they
believe a doctrine (a teaching, a bible verse) a different way. Friend if you only have one thing you disagree with in a church “Praise God and
keep coming to the church to bless others”, not just yourself. Church is about learning of God and serving others it is not solely about
blessing you or making you very comfortable. The Apostle (we think Paul) reminds us of the last days so be ready when Jesus Christ returns to
earth. Please don’t let the Lord come when you don’t expect Him so that you are unprepared. It would great for every believer to be a part of
a local church family because then we know the Body of Christ would be stronger and the unity of the Body of Christ would be greater. We do
believe that shut-ins should support the church family they partake of whether a local church that comes to visit them or a specific ministry
they consistently watch on TV (or the internet) but God’s Perfect Will is always face-to-face whenever possible.
Verse 26 speaks the truth that we have been stating, “That if you willfully (knowingly) practice sin you are not going to be forgiven by the
Body and Blood of Jesus Christ”. Therefore you will be judged by God’s Word as unworthy.
Verse 27 uses the strong word “certain” to emphasize that there are no exceptions but all those who willfully practice sin will face judgment
and fiery indignation (God’s fierce consuming fire that can destroy the spirit, the soul and the body). This fire was created to destroy those
who come against God it is sad when those who actual confess the Name of Jesus come against that Name by acting in a sinful manner.
Verse 28 just reminders us of the Old Testament where certain children of Israel who broke the Law of Moses (The Law of God for that
dispensation) were judged guilty by that same Law and died in the presence of at least two witnesses who testified of the guiltiness of those
same sinners. If this happened hundreds of years ago according to God’s Holy Word it can (and does, and shall) happen today also. It is not
God’s Will to judge anyone but all those who sin by disrespecting God’s revealed word to them are definitely in line to be judged by God’s Word
and if it wasn’t for the sheer grace and mercy of God they would have probably already perished.
Verse 29 shows us God’s Heart on this matter and even though God, the Father, is full of compassion if you disdain the sacrifice of His Precious
Son Jesus Christ God as our Father has no other choice but to judge you according to your own sins against Him and against others. Sin never
only affects you it always affects God and other people in this world, for no man is an island unto themselves because all people are mingled
together upon this earth, whether you like it or not. Be smart and Be Holy by highly esteeming the Bread of Jesus Christ and the Blood of Jesus
Christ as a precious sacrifice for all mankind to always be respected and honored by men, yes all men upon this earth and all those in Heaven
also. Amen!
Summary: So when preparing your heart to receive God’s Holy Communion please remember that He (The Father God and the Lord Jesus Christ) loves
all people and the Gracious Lord respects all people. The Lord is not angry with His Beloved Children so we must be in that same mind set. We
must understand that it is never acceptable to be offended at another person when we are in the very presence of God. God’s Holy Communion is
all about God’s Goodness and Grace and Mercy and Love all shown in the Person of Christ Jesus, so to completely ignore the very real fact that
you are called to share God’s Love with others is totally unacceptable. Please know that those who practice sin in God’s Presence will be judge
specifically for the exact sin they produce which being unwilling to Love like God loves. And yes the wages of sin is death and for this reason
many are weak, sickly and some even sleep (die prematurely) among us. This is sad but truth so see to it that you always properly prepare your
heart to lovingly and respectfully receive the Bread and the Wine of Christ Jesus in all faith and all trust in God alone. Amen.
